2025 US Open Cup Quarterfinal and Multiple Draws
So many draws in one day to finish off the 2025 edition
After an exciting fifth round/Round of 16 in the 2025 US Open Cup, Open Cup Commishioner David Applegate was at the studio of CBS Sports Golazo Network as he was with Claudia Pagan to start the draws for the final three rounds.
The eight clubs advancing to the quarterfinals are Austin FC, Chicago Fire, DC United, Minnesota United FC, Nashville SC, New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia Union, and the San Jose Earthquakes.
The first draw was to place two teams in the central part of the country and place them in the East or the West. Nashville SC was drawn first and they joined DC, RBNY & PHI. Chicago was drawn second and they were joined with Austin, Minnesota and San Jose.
Then the Quarterfinals draw began. The host teams drawn first and second were the Philadelphia Union and Nashville SC. The next two balls drawn were the road teams. New York Red Bulls will travel to Philly, while DC United will fly to Tennessee.
In the West, the first two teams drawn to host their matches are Minnesota United FC and the San Jose Earthquakes, then the next two road teams are the Chicago Fire as they will head to the Twin Cities, and Austin FC will head to the Bay Area.
The next draw was hosting rights for the Semi-Finals. Here is the order of who could host and who could be on the road.

In the final draw the western side of the bracket will host the final and the eastern side will take the trip to either Austin, Chicago, Minnesota, or San Jose. The 2025 US Open Cup will be an exciting finish, let's see if we get a great one.
