Grand Rapids, Michigan will be getting a professional soccer team of their own soon, but it won’t be a rival to Detroit City FC.

A source confirmed to Beyond the 90 that Grand Rapids Soccer will end up with a team in MLS NEXT Pro rather than the USL. This confirms yesterday’s report by Next Pro News that also added 2027 as a club’s official launch date. …
