Indy Eleven: July Update
Indy Men have inconsistent June, while the women end their season without qualification to the playoffs. Fort Wayne looks to secure their playoff position in their final L2 campaign.
Here is the July Update on Indy Eleven and Indiana Soccer.
Indy Eleven Men’s June Results:
USL-C: June 4th at Birmingham Legion FC: 1-0 Win
USL-C: June 14th vs Pittsburgh Riverhounds: 1-0 Win
USL-C: June 21st vs Las Vegas Lights: 1-0 Loss
USL-C: June 25th at Tampa Bay Rowdies: 3-1 Loss

US Open Cup: Round of 32 (eliminated)
USL Jager Cup: 2-1-0, 8 points
USL Championship Record (W-D-L): 3-5-5, 14 points
June saw an Indy side pick up some important wins vs Birmingham and Pittsburgh, while also losing at a struggling Tampa side.
While the team was able to win their 2nd and 3rd matches of the league, they also lost twice. Indy desperately is needing some consistency in league play if they want to avoid a playoff battle. 6th place is only 3 points away, and 5th is only 6. July won’t be easy as Indy play Rhode Island and travel to a good North Carolina FC.

USL W Record (W-D-L): 5-0-5, 15 points
USL-W League Valley Standings:
The Indy Eleven women’s team was unable to replicate the success of their previous 3 seasons. This time finishing in 3rd place behind Racing Louisville and Kings Hammer of Cincinnati. As a result, the Eleven have not qualified for the playoffs for the first time in USL-W history.
Shout-out to all the players, staff and fans who supported this team. Time to rest up after a chaotic June and season, and look towards improving in 2026.

USL-League Two Valley Standings:
Fort Wayne looks to maintain their top spot and secure themselves a playoff position again this year. As long as Fort Wayne can win against the bottom two teams in the Division, they’ll have qualified for the playoffs.
Quick note, Fort Wayne helped debut 15 year-old (!!) Johnny Aye in the club’s 1-0 friendly win vs Atlas. Further details can be found here.
Northern Indiana FC (Great Lakes Division)
USL-L2: June 6th vs Kalamazoo FC: 4-1 Win

USL-League Two Great Lakes Standings:
Northern Indiana doesn’t quite have a path towards the playoffs in their inaugural L2 campaign, but they most certainly were able to hold their own. The Great Lakes Division is one of the tightest and most competitive across L2. Being able to hold their own is an accomplishment in of itself. Northern Indiana will look to close out the season against a poor Lansing City team, then a tough matchup against Flint, with the season finale vs Macomb.
USL L2 July Matches:
Fort Wayne FC (Valley Division)
Friendly: July 5th vs Lansing City
USL-L2: July 9th at Dayton Dutch Lions
USL-L2: July 12th vs Kings Hammer (Cincinnati)

Northern Indiana FC (Great Lakes Division)

USL-L2: July 9th vs Flint City Bucks
USL-L2: July 12 vs Union FC Macomb
