Memphis 901 FC, amid stadium woes, have decided not to proceed as a franchise. The news was first reported by Tom Bogert.

Instead, it would appear the USL has brokered a deal to sell Memphis 901 FC's rights to Santa Barbara Sky. Santa Barbara Sky will forgo playing in USL League 1 and immediately make the jump to the USL Championship.
