Is MLS moving on to the women’s side- analyzing the report and adding some other layers including a potential Messi link (updated)

The report did not surprise me, but some of the details did. Lots to unpack.

NOTE: while this story has been retracted by Spikes and Scarves much of the analysis remains pertinent. MLS may not be pursuing the purchase of a women’s league, but they do currently have the desire to push forward in some manner in women’s soccer whether it is youth teams or having individual owners field women’s pro teams in other leagues.
