NISA Announces Capo FC to play in 2025 Fall Tournament
NISA confirms Capo FC's participation in fall league tournament.
Yesterday, the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announced its third club to participate in the 2025 NISA Pro Cup Tournament this fall. Capo FC, based in San Juan Capistrano, will return to NISA competition this fall after completing its inaugural season in the NISA league last year. Capo FC finished in third place in the Western Conference with 15 points behind Irvine Zeta FC and the Los Angeles Force. Capo FC began as a grassroots, community-based youth club in 2006. Capo FC has continued to grow over the years, fielding sides in the Southwest Premier League, United Premier Soccer League, USL League Two, and NISA Nation. The club also launched a USL W-League women's team that made its debut this summer. Capo FC Director Peter Carey shared his perspective on Capo FC's return and how his club is fully committed to making a strong impact in the upcoming professional tournament.
"Our staff and players are honored to be back competing with some of the top clubs in the country," said Capo FC Director Peter Carey. "We've been working diligently to prepare for this opportunity, and our players are eager to showcase their development on a national stage. NISA has been an incredible platform for our program, and we are extremely grateful for the opportunity to return. Expect us to come back stronger, sharper, and more determined than ever to finish at the top."
Capo FC continues to grow its footprint in Southern California through a strong community presence and competitive development model. The club looks forward to representing its city and supporters with pride and ambition in the 2025 NISA Pro Tournament."
Capo FC is in its fourth season competing in NISA Nation. Capo FC is undefeated and leading the Coast Region for the 2025 spring season in NISA Nation with 17 points. The club has developed young talent throughout the San Juan Capistrano area, including Kristian Kolaci, Parker Scalzo, Nathan King, and Dylan Shockley. The NISA league, as mentioned in its press release, will reveal more participating clubs in the coming days and weeks.
