NISA Nation Matchweek Recap
2025 NISA Nation Spring Season recap of Matchweek 5 in the Coast and Southwest Regions, and the Tennessee Region makes its debut.
We have completed five weeks of action for the Coast and Southwest Regions in NISA Nation, while the Tennessee Region just began its 2025 spring season. We had eight matches scheduled last weekend, but only five were played. The FC Anahuac vs SC Union Maricopa, Lobos FC vs Inland Empire FC, and Las Vegas United FC vs SC Union Maricopa matches were all postponed. The match between Inland Empire FC and Worldwide Problems FC scheduled for tomorrow was also postponed. NISA Nation has not announced the rescheduled dates yet. We've got plenty to cover today, so let's get into the recaps for Matchweek 5 (Coast/Southwest) and Matchweek 1 in Tennessee Regions.
NISA Nation - Coast & Southwest Region Matchweek 5 Results
LA Force 2 2 Capo FC 3 (Saturday April 26)
Capo FC edged LA Force 2 3-2 on Saturday at Long Beach City College. Former Irvine Zeta FC goalkeeper Mitch North was the starting goalkeeper for LA Force 2 in this one. LA Force 2 got off to a great start with Dante Brigida's goal to give the Force the lead. Josue Cartagena set up that goal for the assist. Capo FC got an equalizer just before halftime with a goal from Byron Castillo to tie the match at 1-1. In the second half, Parker Scalzo pulls Capo FC in front for a 2-1 lead in the 48th minute. LA Force 2 would get an equalizer from Oscar Delgado, and we are tied at two. However, in the 65th minute, Hevany Mota scored to put Capo FC back in front for a 3-2 lead, which would be the final score. Capo FC gets their first win in the spring season, and their next match will be on Saturday on the road against Lobos FC at Orange County Great Park. LA Force 2 will look to bounce back next weekend at home against Lobos FC.
STG Premier Pro 2 Soccer Academy Nevada 0 (Saturday April 26)
STG Premier Pro finally got its first win in the 2025 spring season, beating Soccer Academy Nevada 2-0 on Saturday at Snow Canyon High School Stadium. Max Gutierrez and Angel Muniz scored for the Utah side in this matchup. STG Premier Pro will go on the road to face SC Union Maricopa on Saturday at Chaparral High School Stadium (Scottsdale, AZ). Soccer Academy Nevada has been winless in their last three matches after winning their opening matchup in the spring season. Soccer Academy Nevada will face Las Vegas United FC next weekend at Western High School Stadium.
Sin City FC 3 Be Pro FC 1 (Sunday April 27)
Sin City FC extended their winning streak to four matches, beating Be Pro FC 3-1 on Saturday at Mater Academy East High School Stadium. Cheke, Andy Rodriguez, and Sterling Penniston-John scored for Sin City FC as they extended their lead atop of the Southwest Region. The club also held a Ray Strong Fundraiser, and all the proceeds for this match went to support Raymond Chavez, a Somerset Academy - Skye Canyon student, and his family to help cover medical bills after his recent cancer diagnosis. Be Pro FC has been winless in their last three matches. Be Pro FC's next match will be on Saturday against FC Anahuac at Freedom Park. Sin City FC will face SC Union Maricopa on May 9 at Canyon Springs High School Stadium.

Dream FC 1 Nashville Knights FC 2 (Saturday April 26)
The Nashville Knights FC edged Dream FC 2-1 Saturday at Franklin Christian Academy Stadium. The Knights struck first with Edinson Molero's opening goal. Later in the first half, Jesus Rangel scored to extend the Knights lead by 2-0 just before halftime. In the second half, Markus Reese pulled one back for Dream FC, but in the end, the Knights took the three points in the first matchup to kickoff the spring season in the Tennessee Region. Dream FC will take on Paul Depay FC on Sunday at Rose Park Soccer Field in the afternoon, while Nashville Knights FC faces Music City SC on Sunday night at Rose Park Soccer Field.
FK Han 2 Paul Depay FC 3 (Saturday April 26)
Paul Depay FC defeated FK Han 3-2 on the road on Saturday at the Lovers Lane Soccer Complex. FK Han jumped out to a 2-0, getting a goal from Fahrudin Dervisevic and an own goal by Paul Depay FC early in the first half. Paul Depay FC pulled one back as Nawn Thang scored to make it 2-1 just before halftime. In the second half, Alejandro Urdaneta and Matthew Chinoo added goals to pull Paul Depay FC ahead as they fought back for a 3-2 victory. Paul Depay FC will battle Dream FC on Saturday, while FK Han is off this weekend. FK Han's next match is scheduled for May 10 against Dream FC at Lovers Lane Soccer Complex.
