We are less than a month away from the conclusion of the 2025 spring season in NISA Nation. Capo FC, Sin City FC, and the Nashville Knights FC continue to lead their respective regions. In the news of the week, FC Anahuac and Soccer Academy concluded the second half of their originally scheduled match from May 24 on Wednesday, which was initially delayed due to stadium lighting issues. The match finished in a 2-2 draw. Meanwhile, in Nashville, Dream FC posted a club statement on social media stating that their match against Music City SC was rescheduled due to an emergency with the medical staff, and since they weren't present, the referees had to call off the game. Later in the week, NISA Nation changed the result to a forfeit by Dream FC, and Music City SC was awarded a 3-0 win and three points. SC Union Maricopa 5 Soccer Academy Nevada 1 (Saturday June 7)
SC Union Maricopa defeated Soccer Academy Nevada 5-1 last Saturday at Arizona State University Soccer Field. Jose Arreola scored the opening goal for Soccer Academy Nevada in the first half, but after that, it was all SC Union Maricopa. Kyle Benjamin scored the equalizer to tie the match at one just before halftime. In the second half, Benjamin added another goal; Lorenzo Garcia, Romell Brown, and Munachi Offor all scored as SC Union Maricopa cruised to a big win at home. SC Union Maricopa will face FC Anahuac tonight at Arizona State University Soccer Field. Soccer Academy Nevada will host STG Premier Pro tonight at Canyon Springs High School Stadium.
Be Pro FC 3 STG Premier Pro 6 (Saturday June 7)
STG Premier Pro defeated Be Pro FC 6-3 on the road last Saturday at Freedom Park to secure back-to-back wins. Damon Lund, Jose Morales, and Taylor Kogan scored in the first half for STG Premier Pro. Steven Benjamin Rivadavia scored for Be Pro FC as his team trailed 3-1 at halftime. In the second half, Rene Bernal and Jacob Wittwer scored to give STG Premier Pro a 5-1 lead. Rivadavia added two more goals to record a hat trick for Be Pro FC, but it was not enough as STG Premier Pro takes the win and three points. Be Pro FC lost its midweek match 3-2 to Sin City FC but will face FC Anahuac next week at Desert Pines High School Stadium. STG Premier Pro will be on the road to take on Soccer Academy Nevada tonight at Canyon Springs High School Stadium.
Las Vegas United FC 4 FC Anahuac 0 (Saturday June 7)
Las Vegas United FC snapped its four-match winless streak, getting a 4-0 win over FC Anahuac last Saturday at Western High School Stadium. Elizandro Zaragoza, Zack Larson, Brandon Polendo, and Lamar Hayes all got on the scoresheet for Las Vegas to seal the win and grab the three points. FC Anahuac has been winless in its last three matches and will look to turn it around against SC Union Maricopa tonight at Arizona State University Soccer Field. Las Vegas United FC will take on Sin City FC tonight at Western High School Stadium.
Real Sociedad Royals 2 Capo FC 2 (Saturday June 7)
Real Sociedad Royals and Capo FC played to a 2-2 draw last Saturday at Vista Hermosa Sports Park, splitting the points. Ramiro Rosas scored the opener for the Royals, but Dakota Hatzenbeller scored the equalizer for Capo FC to tie the match at one. Rosas would add another goal just before halftime as the Royals take a 2-1 lead. In the second half, Hatzenbeller would add another goal for Capo FC, tying the match 2-2, which would ultimately be the final score. Real Sociedad Royals are off this weekend, while Capo FC will host Worldwide Problems FC tomorrow at Vista Hermosa Sports Park.
NISA Nation - Tennessee Region Matchweek 7 Results
FK Han 1 Nashville Knights FC 2 (Saturday June 7)
Nashville Knights FC edged past FK Han 2-1 last Saturday at the Lovers Lane Soccer Complex to stay undefeated and win their fifth straight match. Francys Sosa scored the opener for the Knights in the first half. However, Fahrudin Dervisevic scored the equalizer to tie the match at one just before halftime. In the second half, Luis Castaneda's goal pulled the Knights back in front, and they would hang on for the 2-1 win on the road. The Knights will be off this weekend, while FK Han will face Dream FC tonight at Franklin Christian Academy Stadium.
