NISA Nation Matchweek Recap
2025 NISA Nation Spring Season recap of Matchweek 6 in the Coast and Southwest Regions, and Matchweek 2 in the Tennessee Region.
We have completed six weeks of action for the Coast and Southwest Regions in NISA Nation, while the Tennessee Region is just two weeks into its 2025 spring season. SC Union Maricopa won in its NISA Nation return, Dream FC won its first match, and Sin City FC looks to continue its unbeaten streak tonight at home. We've got plenty to cover today, so let's get into the recaps.
NISA Nation - Coast & Southwest Regions Matchweek 6 Results
SC Union Maricopa 3 STG Premier Pro 2 (Saturday May 3)
SC Union Maricopa edged STG Premier Pro 3-2 on Saturday at Chaparral High School Stadium to secure their first win in the 2025 NISA Nation spring season. SC Union Maricopa got off to a flying start, getting goals from Mason Snailum and Jean Horace Katende to take a 2-0 lead. STG Premier Pro would pull one back with a strike from Jose Morales to make it 2-1 just before halftime. In the second half, SC Union Maricopa added another goal from Lorenzo Garcia to take a 3-1 lead. STG Premier Pro made it closer, getting a goal from Jorge Quintero to be down by one, but SC Union Maricopa held on for the victory. SC Union Maricopa will head to Canyon Springs High School Stadium tonight to face Sin City FC, followed by another match against Be Pro FC the next day. STG Premier Pro will be on the road tomorrow to face FC Anahuac.
Be Pro FC 3 FC Anahuac 4 (Saturday May 3)
FC Anahuac defeated Be Pro FC 4-3 on the road in a thrilling match at Freedom Park on Saturday. Steven Benjamin Rivadavia struck first for Be Pro FC to take the early lead. Miguel Rubio would score the equalizer for FC Anahuac just before halftime. In the second half, Rivadavia would add another to put Be Pro FC back in front. However, a few minutes later, Rubio added his second goal of the match, and we're tied at two. This match continued to go back and forth as Bryan Macias scored to put Be Pro FC ahead 3-2. Gabriel Miranda would score the equalizer to tie the match at three in the 67th minute. Skyler Goo would score the winning goal for FC Anahuac to pull out a win. Be Pro FC remains winless, while FC Anahuac has been unbeaten in their last three matches. Be Pro FC will host SC Union Maricopa tomorrow night at Freedom Park, while FC Anahuac will host STG Premier Pro.
Lobos FC 2 Capo FC 9 (Saturday May 3)
Capo FC dominated on the road to defeat Lobos FC 9-2 on Saturday at Orange County Great Park. Kristian Colaci and Hevany Mota scored to put Capo FC ahead 2-0. Mason Whisler pulled one back for Lobos FC, but Mota added another, and Abdul Mansaray added his name to the scoresheet as Capo FC took a 4-1 lead going into halftime. In the second half, Lobos FC got a goal from Leopoldo Mora to make it 4-2. However, after that, it was all Capo FC. Jonathan Estrada, Colaci, and Mansaray would each add their second goal in the match. Jhoel Sarraude would also score as Capo FC put this match away in dominating fashion. For Lobos FC, it's the second consecutive match in which the club has given up nine goals. They will look to bounce back on the road tomorrow to take on LA Force 2 at Long Beach City College. Capo FC will make up their rescheduled match from last month when they host Temecula FC tomorrow at Vista Hermosa Sports Park.

NISA Nation - Tennessee Region Matchweek 2 Results
Dream FC 3 Paul Depay FC 1 (Sunday May 4)
Dream FC bounced back, earning their first win of the spring season, beating Paul Depay FC 3-1 on Sunday at Rose Park Soccer Field. Omar Perdomo put Dream FC ahead early in the first half, but Nawn Thang buried an equalizer for Paul Depay FC to tie the match at one just before halftime. In the second half, Conor Kasewurm scored, and Perdomo scored another goal to put the match away. Bakari set up the assist for all three goals for Dream FC in this match. Dream FC will go on the road for the first time this season as they travel to Kentucky to battle FK Han at the Lovers Lane Soccer Complex on Sunday. Paul Depay FC will make the short trip to the Metro Soccer Complex to face Music City SC tomorrow night.
Nashville Knights FC 4 Music City SC 1 (Sunday May 4)
Nashville Knights FC won its second straight match, defeating Music City SC 4-1 on Sunday at Rose Park Soccer Field. The goal scorers for this match were not listed in the match center on the NISA Nation website. I also checked both club's social media pages, but they did not mention who scored in this match. The Knights are in the lead in the Tennessee Region, sitting atop the table with six points. The Nashville Knights next match will be on May 17 against FK Han at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Stadium. Music City SC will host its first home match of the spring season, taking on Paul Depay FC tomorrow night at the Metro Soccer Complex.
