A recap of week 6, week 7, week 8, and more from the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase.
We are near the finish line in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase, with four weeks left. Sin City FC, the Los Angeles Force, and Capo FC continue to do battle for the Southwest Region title. Let’s catch you up on the last few weeks in the competition.
NISA Spring Showcase – Week 6 Results
Capo FC 9 Royal Society FC 2 (Saturday May 2)
Capo FC dominated Royal Society FC 9-2 at Vista Hermosa Sports Park on Saturday. Abdul Mansaray recorded a hat trick, Sean Presley and Parker Scalzo scored two goals apiece. Ayuk Tambe and Sidney Dina each added one for Capo, while Cesar Marquez and Brian Kennedy Jr. scored the two goals for Real Society FC in the match. Capo FC has won three consecutive matches, while Real Society FC has lost three in a row.
Sin City FC 12 Inland Empire FC 1 (Saturday May 2)
Sin City FC crushed Inland Empire FC 12-1 at Mater East Academy High School Stadium on Saturday to win its fourth consecutive match. Slaiwa Youhanna scored the opening goal in the first two minutes of the match for Inland Empire FC. After that, Sin City FC’s attack came to life, scoring 12 straight goals to finish the match. Miguel Higareda scored five goals, and Daniel Rangel scored a hat trick. Brandon Vargas, Jose Quintero, David Villanueva, and Caleb Castano added a goal apiece to put this match away for Sin City FC and boost that goal differential lead over the LA Force to remain atop the Southwest Region table. Inland Empire FC has lost four straight matches.
Problems FC 0 Los Angeles Force 2 (Sunday May 3)
The Los Angeles Force edged Problems FC 2-0 at Long Beach City College on Sunday to stay in the Southwest Region title race in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase. After a scoreless first half, Dante Brigida and Enzo Mauriz scored for the Force in the second half to pull away with the three points.
NISA Spring Showcase – Week 7 Results
Inland Empire FC 0 Problems FC 3 (Saturday May 9)
This match was declared a forfeit by Inland Empire FC, and Problems FC was awarded a 3-0 win.
Los Angeles Force 6 Royal Society FC 1 (Saturday May 9)
The Los Angeles Force defeated Royal Society FC 6-1 at St. Anthony High School Stadium on Saturday and moved up to first place in the Southwest Region with that result. Baldemar Pineda scored the opener for Royal Society FC seven minutes into the match. The Force responded with four goals in the first half, including two goals from Enzo Mauriz, a goal from Kian Aminloo, and a goal from Roberto Molina to take a 4-1 lead at halftime. In the second half, Aydan Bowers and Ronaldo Pineda added a goal apiece to help the Force secure their second win in a row.
NISA Spring Showcase – Week 8 Results
Capo FC 3 Sin City FC 2 (Saturday May 16)
Abdul Mansaray put on a show, scoring a hat trick for Capo FC in a 3-2 win against Sin City FC at JSerra Catholic High School on Saturday. Brandon Vargas scored the opener for Sin City to take a 1-0 lead just before halftime. In the second half, it was a flurry of goals between these two sides. Two minutes into the second half, Mansaray scored to level the match for Capo FC. In the 56th minute, Mansaray pounced on the rebound given up by the goalkeeper to put Capo FC in front 2-1. However, Capo FC gave up a penalty kick to Sin City FC, and David Villanueva buried the equalizer from the spot. Despite going down to 10 men late in the second half, Capo FC kept pushing and was awarded a penalty kick in stoppage time. Mansaray blasts his shot into the back of the net from the spot to seal the win for Capo FC and has won four consecutive matches in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase. The loss ends Sin City FC’s four-match winning streak.
Inland Empire FC 0 Los Angeles Force 7 (Sunday May 17)
The Los Angeles Force continue their winning ways with a dominating 7-0 win against Inland Empire FC at Pacific High School Stadium on Sunday. Roberto Molina scored twice, and Aydan Bowers added his name to the scoresheet in the first half for the Force to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. In the second half, Oscar Delgado scored twice, Chila and Ronaldo Pineda added a goal apiece as LA secured its third consecutive win in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase and increased its lead atop the Southwest Region table over Sin City FC, while Inland Empire FC has lost six straight matches.
Royal Society FC 1 Problems FC 0 (Sunday May 17)
Royal Society FC secured its first win in the 2026 NISA Spring Showcase, defeating Problems FC 1-0 at Long Beach City College on Sunday. After a scoreless first half, we had to wait all the way till stoppage time to get a winner as Oliver Barrosa scored the lone goal for Royal Society FC to take home three points.
