Pelé: Creator of American Soccer

Without Pelé, American Soccer would likely be a semipro game only played in some ethnic communities

I am on a family holiday in North Florida the next few days, but plan to fully break down the impact on the US of the greatest player ever, Pelé in the near future.

Simply put, without Pelé, the New York Cosmos and the NASL, the sport I believe would not even exist in the United States in any semblance of what it is currently.
