Who says you have to have an MLS club to invest?

In recent months, I’ve heard quite condescendingly from MLS proponents and even from some media members that USL clubs don’t “invest in lasting infrastructure,” and that the only way to encourage soccer investment is to let MLS take control of the whole pyramid.
