BTW, RGV FC suffered from ownership who didn’t know what they were doing, thought they could bolt on a soccer team to their basketball operation, and never really developed the market. Honestly, every time someone attempts to establish a team in the Valley it flops. Not sure the interest is there, because most soccer fans there support the Monterrey LigaMX clubs. We want some mythical grass roots soccer ecosystem to flourish. After 100+ years the only ones who really made anything work are MLS, NWSL, and maybe USL. I am not one to turn my nose up at them, hoping for something better. It isn’t happening by the NSL or anyone else.
