Tallahassee SC wins big again and continues hot start
6-1 home win puts TLH SC atop the Gulf Coast Conference
Tallahassee SC’s move from NPSL to the League for Clubs is going very well thus far. The side has won two on the bounce by decisive score lines.
The season began nine days ago with a 7-2 win at Valdosta against Valdosta FC. Full match replay is below.
This past Saturday, TLH SC won its league home opener versus a good Sowegens SC side by the score of 6-1.
Here is a summary of the scoring from the match courtesy of Tallahassee SC:
23rd Minute: TSC Goal! Luciano Schiaffinii, an Argentinian national and craftsman in the midfield, opened the scoring with a goal described as a "team effort" born from a "never say die mentality moment". Kasper Wollstein was involved in the buildup, providing an assist.
27th Minute: SOWEGANS Goal. SOWEGANS equalized.
39th Minute: TSC Goal! The lead was quickly regained! Mirai Sato, a Japan National from the University of Hawaii Hilo, scored his third goal of the season, showing he's a dangerous attacking threat. The assist came from Connor Parry.
40th Minute: TSC Goal! Just a minute later, Connor Parry found the back of the net for his second goal of the season. Kasper Wollstein again provided an excellent assist, putting the ball "right on the money". Parry, an exciting, speedy player with a Thomas University connection, is already in the early Golden Boot race.
49th Minute: TSC Goal! Connor Parry wasn't done! Early in the second half, he scored his second goal of the game and third of the season. This "absolute gorgeous finish" was a "total solo effort," a "rocket off of Parry's right foot" that hit the crossbar on its way in.
80th Minute: TSC Goal! New substitute Allbranly Gue, a Haitian national and Sacramento State player, added TSC's fifth goal, further extending the dominance.
Stoppage Time: TSC Goal! In the dying moments, Kasper Wollstein sealed the night off with his first goal of the game, also his third of the season, assisted by new substitute Jerry Ziyue, who has a University of Charleston connection.
At BT90 we’re working with TLH SC on potentially bringing more unique content about the club and by extension the Gulf Coast Conference of the League for the Clubs in the very near future. We’ll have hopefully some news on this later this week.
It's early, but it looks like Tallahassee and Pensacola will be the teams to beat down there
