  • Can it work (the dichotomy between Louisville City and Lexington)

  • Is this a message to Miami FC to get their house in order or be left behind?

  • Age old debate: Is Fort Lauderdale or Miami the better location for a top division club in South Florida?

  • Can USL create multiple club derbies in major markets and ditch territorial rights?

Roster Moves we discuss:

  • Detroit City signs Sebastian Guenzatti (Former Cosmos/Rowdies/Indy Eleven)

    • At 33, can he be the piece that gets Detroit City goals? Came on for the final 26 minutes against Miami FC.

  • Loudoun United signs Ben Mines (Orange County, Colorado Springs, Miami, Indy)

    • Ben around, great utility player. A good fit and could seamlessly fit into this squad. Already has familiarity with Florian Valot.

    • If anyone can maximize his talent it’s Ryan Martin.

  • Loudoun United also signs Christian Sorto to 25-day contract.

    • Kicking the tires or serious about full season deal? (Ask Kartik about the use cases for these contracts).

  • Oakland Roots sign Swiss goalkeeper Raphael Spiegel

    • Reserve in England and Portugal. Most recently at Lausanne-Sport.

    • Not sure he starts and if he starts how much help he has in front of him.

  • Kenardo Forbes retirement prompts Kartik to wax lyrically about his career and impact.
