The United Soccer League will debut its first-ever broadcast theme music for the USL Championship and USL League One this Saturday on the CBS Television Network during the first match broadcast on network television in USL history.
The game features Louisville City FC hosting Indy Eleven in the latest edition of the LIPAFC rivalry with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET. The broadcast will also stream on Paramount+.
Composed by Emmy-nominated music producer Joseph Sicurella and veteran songwriter Nathan Padgett, “United Pulse: Heartbeat of the USL” captures the intensity and energy of USL action on the field and the passion and authenticity of the supporters in the stands.

“Bringing to life the USL Championship and USL League One through music was a vital step in elevating the experience for fans in our match broadcasts this year,” said Michael Cohen, Executive Vice President of Media for the USL. “Working with a talented and experienced composer like Joe Sicurella and his team to create the first USL broadcast theme song helped us truly capture the sound of our sport and our leagues. We can’t wait to debut it on CBS on Saturday."
Sicurella’s resume is second-to-none in the music, entertainment, and advertising industries. He has collaborated with such icons as Aretha Franklin, Johnny Cash, and Whitney Houston, and received many prestigious accolades, including Emmy nominations, AICP Awards and CLIO Awards.
His music production for television includes co-compositions and production work on iconic themes for sports and news shows, such as The NFL Today, NBC Nightly News, The NBA on CBS, and CBS college football programming.
