Indy seems kind of a strange situation with the Mayor and the group he seems to be backing going to the MLS who as far as I know did not have Indianapolis as a future MLS city.
In fact until the leagues meets this summer has not actually decide to expand to 32 teams (even though that has been mentioned as possible).
The 32 team league may be the final (I hope) number. So Indy and Sacramento would be my choices, if there was local support. I do not want a team in Los Vegas.
The Holts, in San Antonio, are heavy (very heavy) hitters. They own the Spurs as well, among other things. And i think the aspirations to get to MLS are known. In that city, I would expect anything to play out with those owners
