Yes, this is the season Dortmund can win the Bundesliga
Dortmund are too deep this season to be written off
The Bundesliga currently has a three way logjam at the top-of-the-table. Bayern, Dortmund and Union all are level on 43 points, though goal difference heavily favors the Bavarians.
Bayern have won 10 successive Bundesliga titles, and were only really pushed to the limit in one of those years (2018-19, when Dortmund took the race to the final day and had suffered an inopportunely timed injury to Marco Reus at a point where it looked like they may actually win the title). Also, in only one of those seasons, 2014-15, did Dortmund finish outside the top four, and more often than not they finish second. But where 2022-23 is different, is that Dortmund under Edin Terzić look better the last month (seven successive wins in all competitions) than they have at any point since the early stages of the aforementioned 2018-19 campaign. It’s quite a turnaround for a BVB side that looked lost before the FIFA World Cup break.
