So awesome to have Lawerence here!

along with Kartik and a few others one of the very best who works in the game and understands the game from top to bottom.

Very interesting stuff! AV Alta has an announced average attendance of 4,523 at their 3 USL1 home matches so far – it’s nice to see them stacking up very well with other strong USL1 sides.

I haven’t found available info for our USOC matches’ attendance – anecdotally probably a bit over 2,400 on average, but I know that’s shaky / might not be certain enough to warrant making the list.

Updated version in a month with USLS debut season numbers mixed in? Or just Fall numbers to keep this calendar year. Bonus if it also includes the independent clubs in MLSNP.

I'm planning on doing one of these every year. Today's piece is just what those teams averaged in 2024. At the end of this year, I'll do one for 2025

Then what about USLS and the indy clubs in MLSNP? It would make sense to include them as pro soccer teams with reported 2024 attendance.

Most of the reserve sides don't seem to post attendance even when they do pretty well, so I'm not sure those would be worth including.

Something I'd love to track if I had the time but right now I just don't have the bandwidth to do it

Good report, thanks.

There used to be a great source of this info in Soccer Stadium digest but that stopped in about 2023.

Where did you find these figures, Lawrence?

I keep track of them as they come out on a variety of spreadsheets. So mainly from league and team websites plus occasionally from news outlets that covered the various games. And if all else fails, Wikipedia (which is surprisingly helpful)
