ES has a far superior coach now and has rotated a lot of players but the stuff that happened in the Canada match was absolutely no surprise to me. Zero.
During the 3rd place game of the CONCACAF Nations League, Jesse was angry and upset that some calls were not going his way, like what happened against Mexico. So he threw a major fit at the referee and called her names. He got the Red Card, then CONCACAF suspended him for another game.
Jesse continues to drill down on part of his coaching duties as involving earning more respect for Canada when it comes to CONCACAF.

But sometimes, he’s going too far with his mouth.
It’s completely calculated and what is currently considered a “feature” with a lot of the Canada supporters may devolve into a “flaw” if he doesn’t get the balance right.
It also helps distract from the Alfonzo Davies debacle where the player’s agent and his club lay the blame for the injury squarely in Jesse’s lap.
I have seen some real hack jobs in the past but El Salvador played like men from that terrible prison on work release.
