This is a head-spinning farce whose ridiculousness has exceeded extreme hallucinogenic levels.

TLDR: Amada ownership has no money, is corrupt & nontransparent, stiffs' vendors/venues, yet is deeply enmeshed with NPSL leadership. We say: let them play in MLS Next Pro and infect the latter with its full farcical flu!

By the way, can you remind us what happened to Tulsa Athletic vis-a-vis NPSL, and is there any chance of Tulsa Athletic joining the USL on some level?

Tulsa Athletic TLDR, I might be miss remembering, so grain of salt. Tulsa Atheltic were told super late by NPSL that their venue wasn't sutable to play games at. I belive because either it didn't have stands or it wasn't "encolosed." Meanwhile, US Open Cup had just given the thumbs up for Tulsa Atheltic to host early round USOC proper matches at. It was stupid and BS and left Tulsa Atheltic without a league for the 2024 season.

As for Tulsa Atheltic joinging USL. Unless USL HQ buys out TLFC, not a chance. TLFC is already at over 50 teams and I with the MWPL partnership I can see that jumping up to at least 65 next year. With possibly two new TLFC Conference in MWPL-land, plus the handful of teams that aren't playing TLFC this year but joined. That doesn't even include the possible NPSL -> TLFC defectors or UPSL -> TLFC jumpers. Espically since TLFC will begin their process of gaining automatic USOC slots.

What the....? The other thing to talk about here is CdL (again). Their first match was a home game at St Mary's High, and they haven't played another game there. Tonight they played their third "home" game in a row away, and it was their second in a row at Patton Park in Jacksonville. Granted, it was against the Jesters, who turn around and play the Armada in Jacksonville on Saturday. CdL has one more home game left on their schedule, wherever that will end up being played. So, there was already some buzz (Battista) that CdL was going to be playing in Jacksonville last week for a home game, not to mention that even that wasn't at the Armada's home field. What a mess.

One would think the travel costs would exceed the $300 to rent a high school stadium near home for 2 hours? Unless the players car pool and take like 5 different cars to the away venue? One might also speculate that in the NPSL, having the home venue also means paying the ref & linesman ($500 total, maybe?)? In most travel youth leagues, however, the two teams split the ref fees!

This is a team that has a automatic berth in the NPSL playoffs, btw. What a mess of a league. Just divy it up between USL2, TLFC, UPSL, and folding teams that are unnecessary extensions of other NPSL teams.

The Armada as an organization have gone missing.

Why even give them this publicity?

RE NPSL , double-standards are par-for-course with them. Why did you guys stop probing what was going on in that league? The vast majority of their good clubs have left and are you sure that the competition right now is not somehow manipulated by “paper clubs” that are not competitive, but are just meant to make up the numbers?
