The Rowdies are actually based in Saint Petersburg which is across the bay from USL HQ in Tampa and they don’t have any association with the league other than competing in it.
Similar to the Fort Lauderdale strikers in NASL when the league was headquartered 20 miles down the road in Miami other than me going back-and-forth between the two entities as an employee there was really no formal association between the league and the club.
