This is a nice mid-week surprise! Very nice to hear your voice at long last!
I do like this --especially if you find it easier and more enjoyable than writing a long-form article. I hope you will still do write the "footnotes" features that currently conclude your Monday articles, however! Those footnotes always stimulate a lot of thought and discussions!
I'm more a writer than a speaker, but I was noticing with these midweek games trying to cover everything Wednesday-Sunday was getting more and more difficult to do and stay functional for the job that pays the bills. This was definitely easier to be done in 35 minutes end to end with the 4 pages of doctor scribble I had (which made trying to read my notes impossible)...probably need to stick to a word document next week.
With midweek games practically every week from a quick glance bar 2 the rest the season, this should allow me to get content up on the midweek games and it be more relevant than a passing glance in a following Monday column.
The one thing I'm remembering now...how long it takes for me to hit the record button in fear and how much longer it takes the adrenaline to exit the body after I finish recording.

Thanks much for all that you do, Jonathan!

This all makes sense --I am cheering you on! p.s. Here's hoping that the fear will dissipate and you'll come to savor that adrenaline rush!!
