Regarding NMU attendance, to be fair, the stadium has terrible sight lines for soccer. Any updates on NMU's future soccer-specific stadium? Is the financing already in place?
That article is the last public update on the project. We're now in the backroom portion making sure all Is and Ts are dotted and crossed. The vote mentioned in that article by my understanding was essentially the second to last hurdle before dirt is being moved.
My biggest concern about their attendance is their last 7 home matches have all been significantly below their season average. I get midweek games are tough sells, but this was the regular season game. That should sell itself on what was a perfect weather night.
