Other than the money, why in the world would Tulsa let Goodrum go? I would think that obviously doesn't help them in the playoff picture.
That Miami/Memphis game was tough to watch. With the score at 1-1 for most of the game, it should have been more exciting. Not so much. And then the wheels just fell all the way off at the end. It may not be a get-right game for Memphis, but it could turn out to be the point where Miaimi finally just gave up any hope.
I'm enjoying this feature, Johnathan! Your dulcet tones recorded past midnight buoys us into the rest of the week & weekend!
Oakland Roots need to test the infrastructure before the official launch of the Malibu lot modular stadium. The A's are only drawing about 5K fans during this terminal, depressing end of baseball in Oakland. It's likely that the Roots will draw TWICE that. The many enthusiastic fans --and new fans taking public transportation-- converging on the crumbling ruins of the Coliseum will spur public attention and investment. TLDR: the publicity and political advantages of playing at the Coliseum next year is persuasive!
