We gave it what we had and I am very, very proud of the Blue Hurricane. Puerto Rico gave it all that they have and performed very well.
We took some hardworking, always grinding USLC and League One guys and students with a couple young men with our high hopes that are based in Spain (both of who picked up injuries during the campaign) and pushed El Salvador to the brink of not advancing.
I launch some heat seeking missiles in the direction of the USL when I feel that it deserves it. I also give it praise when I feel it deserves it.
I fervently believe that if Cardona, Ydrach, Servania, Diaz, Echerría, Rivera, Sulia and Serrano hadn’t earned their opportunities to be, play and train with pros in USL then Puerto Rico would had not been anywhere close to escaping the group in this competition.
USL2 and MLSNP have also played a role.
So happy that Isaac Angking continues his recovery and has worked his way back to getting some minutes with Rhode Island FC.
If some serious internal issues can get resolved then PR can continue to try to progress. If not…
I was pulling for both Puerto Rico & the Dominican Republic. I know how big baseball is over there, but I wanted to see them get to the final round. Hopefully Puerto Rico can qualify for the Gold Cup like what the Dominican Republic did for the tournament this coming Weekend.
Keep up the amazing work Dan, enjoy your stuff here and on Bad Dawg Sports

We’ll see what the future brings.
