Hopefully they can come back, I think there's a place for high level soccer in Fresno. Maybe if the league can get a stronger western footing it'd be more attractive to/palatable for them.

They were so close to getting that footing. AV Alta FC coming in next season, a team in Modesto in 2026 or 2027. SO CLOSE.

I have so many questions about this "mutual decision to part ways." Was it actually mutual? if not, who was the initiator? And why? Will CVF actually survive? If they do, why not go down to L2 like Tucson?

We have much to learn, and I hope they make good on the promise to communicate more in the next few weeks, but for now it sounds like the plan is either a hiatus to get the stadium situation under control and/or a drop to a lower level.

I think the fundamentals were so broken, such as the ugly split with Coach Jones, that everyone just craves a cooling off period free of intrusive questions and publicity. Once a NDA settlement with Coach Jones has been achieved, CV can always come back, perhaps with a different branding....

USL press release mentions FIVE new teams joining the USL-L1 in 2025. Are they Portland, AV Alta, West Chester, Texoma, and FC Naples, still?

100%, they all appear ready to go and with much stronger fundamentals to start than the teams departing.

It's crazy how we are only two weeks removed from your "USL League One Expansion Updates: October" and we are already in huge need of another updated Update!

Further, I just noticed you hadn't mentioned USL Arkansas in the October edition, but I believe there has been further progress in the Ozarks!

As far as I know they're USLC, so I don't cover them.
