So as we first discussed several weeks ago, USL is headed to the Orlando area.
Winter Park, Sarasota, Ft. Lauderdale, and Naples all battling in the USL League One!
All this excitement clearly is being encouraged by the commercial and fan engagement success of FC Naples and Sporting Jax (USL Super League).
How many more clubs do we need before Florida could ultimately be a USL1 Division all by itself??
--what do you all think about the odds of Gainesville or Tallahassee joining the USL1?
Have not heard of any projects in those places but there is one in Pensacola

With the growth of USL, League 1 will almost certainly have to become a "regional" league. Play a home/away round robin against your region, and then maybe a couple of games outside the region, and then playoffs.
That’s the goal because travel costs right now are outrageous
Looks like regionalization is happening in Florida and in the NE. The challenge will be the western and mountain states...
