Is Zeta truly folding, or just retreating to semi-pro/amatuer ranks? Is anyone approaching things in the same way that Tulsa did last year; independently scheduling friendlies to get a season of competition?
USSF will not invite another lawsuit by "kicking out" NISA, just before the World Cup. Instead, it will let NISA just become a zombie for the next two years, hopefully during which it just withers away. Not a "collapse", but more like an evaporation, an "Irish goodbye"....
We highly doubt NISA has six independent, fully funded clubs, with strong, vetted investment groups, especially with the Bobcats and LA Force completely out.
