Indy Men continue to struggle in May going winless in league play and getting knocked out of the US Open Cup. But are off to a good start to the USL Cup. The women stumble twice to end May
Why do you think Indy11 is struggling so on the pitch? Are the distractions of the Mayor's (traitorous?) courtship of the MLS taking a toll on the players and coaches?
I want to emphasize this - Indy Eleven's inabilities are all self-inflicted. Nothing to do with MLS. Last year of the exception to the norm for the Eleven (even then they BARELY got a 4th place spot). There is a belief that this team is put together without the input of the manager has been that way for years - and we have managed to get lucky a few times (2024, 2019). We can also point to big signings like Kizza underperforming and not quite fitting in (alluding to previous point).
